There are times when a tenant requests certain improvements from the building owner or building management company which will require a request for a Site Plan Amendment. These requests could include but not limited to installation of back up generators, increase in parking or telecommunications equipment.
Site Plan Amendments have a two step process:
1) Plans are presented to the Planning Commission which will recommend to Council approval, disapproval or approval with conditions.
2) The Council has the final decision on all Site Plan Amendments.
The Planning Commission meets on the second Monday of the month. Plans are to be delivered to the Village office at least 10 business days prior to the Planning Commission meeting. Council meets on the fourth Monday of the month. If plans are properly drawn and there is a recommendation by the Planning Commission, the approval process can be completed in 30 days.
