Police Department 9-1-1 Request

The Franklin-Bingham Farms Police Department asks residents to avoid using 9-1-1 to report activity regarding anyone who may be violating Gov. Whitmer's stay-at-home order. Please use the department's non-emergency line instead: 248-626-5444.

The department (along with many others in the area) is being flooded with calls reporting potential stay-at-home order violations. The department will continue to respond to each reported incident; however, it may tey to handle some cases via phone contact rather than putting officers in potential jeopardy through face-to-face interaction with the public.

The department and the village encourage everyone to stay home and stay safe.
  • Observe social distancing measures and stay at least 6 feet away from others.
  • Avoid public places if possible.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for 20 seconds before eating, after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose.
  • Use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alocohol if soap isn't available.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Remember, you're not just protecting yourself. You're protecting your family members and preventing the spread of COVID-19 to others.
