Police Department 9-1-1 Request
The department (along with many others in the area) is being flooded with calls reporting potential stay-at-home order violations. The department will continue to respond to each reported incident; however, it may tey to handle some cases via phone contact rather than putting officers in potential jeopardy through face-to-face interaction with the public.
The department and the village encourage everyone to stay home and stay safe.
- Observe social distancing measures and stay at least 6 feet away from others.
- Avoid public places if possible.
- Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for 20 seconds before eating, after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose.
- Use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alocohol if soap isn't available.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
