Paying water bills is now easier

The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner's Office (WRC) is making the bill-pay process easier for customers. The "PayNearMe" payment platform allows customers to pay their water bills with cash at any CVS, 7-Eleven and Family Dollar store across the nation. A flyer introducing the program is here, and will be included with the next bill, which have been modified to include bar codes and messaging. Visit the WRC site. 

Customers can continue to pay bills using mail, phone, automated payment, or at the dropbox located at the WRC billing center in Waterford. There is NO surcharge for any payment option, including the new cash option.
